There are two ways you can check your Instant-Scratch-Its ticket online to see if it’s a winner.
First, you will need to have an online account with The Lott and be logged in. You can find more information about creating an account here.
The Check My Ticket feature will work for $1, $2, $4, $5, $10, $15 and $20 Instant Scratch-Its tickets via The Lott website or app. Your device camera will be required.
To check your Instant Scratch-Its ticket on The Lott website:
- Navigate to thelott.com.
- Select Results in the top menu bar.
- Select Check My Ticket.
- Scan your ticket by positioning the ticket barcode* at the bottom of your Instant Scratch-Its ticket in the view of your webcam/device camera.
- Once scanned, the results will be displayed on your screen, and you’ll be notified if you’ve won a prize.
To check your Instant Scratch-Its ticket on The Lott app:
- Open The Lott app on your mobile device.
- Select Scan Your Tickets at the top of the app.
- You may be prompted to allow The Lott app to access the camera on your device (More information on this is available here).
- Scan your ticket by positioning the camera over the ticket barcode* at the bottom of your Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
- Once scanned, the results will be displayed on your screen, and you’ll be notified if you’ve won a prize.
If you have won a prize on a 'scratchie', it’s important to hold onto your winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket, as the physical ticket is needed to claim and verify your prize. Your ticket must be retained to claim and verify your prize in-store (or via our Prize Administration team if it is above the in-store payment limit).
You can enter any eligible non-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket valued at $2 or higher into the 2nd Chance Draw.
The correct barcode to scan is a long rectangular shape, and the location of this barcode depends on the ticket price:
- For $1 and $2 tickets, due to their smaller size, the barcode is placed within the game panel.
- For tickets priced at $4 and above, the barcode is positioned separately from the game panel and can be found beneath the rectangle box labelled the “SCRATCH & SCAN BARCODE.”
- The barcode's location may differ between tickets, but the same barcode is used for scanning on all tickets.
