Unverified accounts become deactivated 12 months after registration if you haven’t verified your identity with The Lott. We advise you of the need to verify your identity in the days following registration, and we send a final reminder 11 months after registration before your account is deactivated, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Verified accounts become deactivated after 24 months of inactivity. We advise you of account inactivity and balance of any funds remaining via your communication preferences at 17, 18, 23, and 24 months of inactivity (usually by email) in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
We advise you of the balance of any funds left in your account prior to the account being deactivated, so you have time to withdraw and deposit them into your chosen bank account.
- After 18 months of inactivity, funding sources, such as credit card or PayPal details, are automatically removed from your account and your account is suspended. A password reset is required if you want to log back in to your account.
- After 24 months of inactivity for verified accounts, your account is deemed deactivated, and you’ll no longer be able to log in.
Once your account is deactivated, any remaining funds become ‘unclaimed monies’ and will typically be transferred to the relevant state offices the following February or May. If you require assistance with claiming outstanding funds before account deactivation, please contact our Contact Centre on 131 868.
