SMS Security, also known as two-factor authentication (2FA), gives you an extra level of protection when managing your online account with The Lott app or via thelott.com.
With SMS Security, we’ll send you a randomly generated one-time SMS authorisation code to your nominated mobile phone every time you make changes to your account information, such as resetting your password or updating your personal information. Simply enter the code when prompted on The Lott app or thelott.com.
Existing accounts (created before 12 February 2024) will be prompted to opt into SMS Security when making changes to personal or financial withdrawal information. You can opt in to SMS Security at any time by logging into your online account on The Lott app or thelott.com, navigating to the Settings menu and enabling SMS Security.
New accounts created after 12 February 2024, will automatically be opted in to SMS Security when they create an account with The Lott.
If you have opted into SMS Security, you will no longer be able to opt out, as keeping your information secure is of the utmost importance here at The Lott.
