There might be a few reasons why you’re having trouble linking your Members Club card to your online The Lott account:
Is your Members Club card number correct?
If the system can’t find your Members Club card number, it could be that you made a mistake while entering it. We suggest reviewing the card number and trying again.
Is the Members Club card not scanning in The Lott app?
If the app is having trouble scanning the barcode on your physical Members Club card, ensure you are in a well-lit location and the camera lens is clean.
Otherwise, tap the lightning bolt icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the Scan Barcode screen to activate the torch.
Is your Members Club card number the same as your details?
To ensure we correctly link your Members Club card to your new online account, we check the information you’ve provided against the information we have on file.
If the personal information registered to your Members Club card does not match f your online account, we unfortunately cannot link you card.
One common issue is when a shortened or abbreviated version of a name was used when registering for a card (e.g., ‘Tom’ or ‘T’), but the full name (e.g., ‘Thomas’) was used registering for the online account.
Should the name on your Members Club card not match the name on your online account, you can request your name to be updated on your Members Club card.

Is your Members Club card number already linked to an online account?
As your prize payment preferences are managed within your online account, we do not allow a Members Club card to be linked to more than one online account.

Does your Members Club card contain two names?
Unfortunately, we do not allow the linking of Members Club cards that were created with the names of two separate people.
Should you wish to continue using your Members Club card that is in two names, you will need to continue managing your membership in-store.
Is your Members Club card number from a different jurisdiction to your online account?
A Members Club card can only be linked to an online account within the same jurisdiction. This means:
- A Members Club card issued by Golden Casket can only be linked to an online account registered in Queensland.
- A Members Club card issued by NSW Lotteries can only be linked to an online account registered in New South Wales or the Australian Capital Territory.
- A Members Club card issued by Tatts can only be linked to an online account registered in Victoria, Tasmania or the Northern Territory.
- A Members Club card issued by SA Lotteries can only be linked to an online account registered in South Australia.
If you have moved, you can Contact Us to have either your Members Club card or online account membership transferred to your current state.
