When depositing funds into your online account, you may see an additional security verification after you’ve hit the Deposit or Deposit and buy buttons.
You may see this additional security verification if:
- You’re adding a new debit/credit card,
- You’re using Google Pay via a web browser,
- You make a deposit of $500 or more, or
- You manually use a card that was recently added.
This is an additional security step your bank uses to confirm it’s really you when making a deposit or purchase with The Lott. Each security popup may look slightly different as it’s a direct connection from your bank.
It could look like:
The verification step comes directly from your bank, not The Lott.
If you see this additional security step, you may be asked to:
- Enter a one-time code sent via SMS,
- Approve a push notification in your banking app, or
- Complete a different security check or puzzle challenge set by your bank.
This verification process helps protect you from unauthorised transactions on your debit/credit cards, reduce fraud and chargebacks, and keep the way you play secure.
