When changing your password it is important that it’s at least 10 characters long. Passwords can contain a combination of letters, numbers and symbols. Keep your passwords unique between accounts and avoid using common passwords.
Using the Lott website:
To change your password you will need to login to your online account.
Once logged in, click on the account icon in the top-right corner and select Settings from the drop-down menu.
Open the Account Access option and click Edit next to Password. Enter your current password, followed by your new password, then click Save.
We also provide a strength password indicator as a guide to how secure your password is. We recommend that you attempt to get your password into the strong category indicated by the green indicator.
Tip: If you have trouble with this step you can tap the ‘Show’ button next to the New Password field to show exactly what you’ve typed in the New Password field.
Using the Lott App:
Open or download the Lott App on your device and login to your account.
Below we are using a Tatts account as an example.
Once logged in, click on the account icon at the bottom of your screen.
Select Change Password from the menu.
Enter your current password, followed by your new password and finally the new password again to confirm and click Change Password.
If the password you enter into the New Password and Confirm New Password fields don't match, you will receive the error message "New passwords do not match". In this situation, re-type your password into the fields ensuring they are exactly the same.
Changing your password without logging in
You can also change your password without logging in by using the Forgot Password function, available from the login screen. Check out our article on resetting your password for more information.
