As a general rule, it isn’t possible to purchase lottery tickets from outside of Australia.
We’ve made a change to our online process, where international accounts (from Norfolk Island, Nauru, Christmas Island, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, and New Zealand) are no longer allowed to join as new customers. If you hold an existing account in those international locations, there is no change to your account.
Please note, any prize winnings need to be paid into an Australian bank account.
To verify your identity from one of these countries for existing accounts, follow the steps below:
- Complete this form.
- Obtain the documents as outlined below. You will need to present either:
- ONE primary photographic identification document and ONE secondary identification document; or
- ONE primary non-photographic identification document and TWO secondary identification documents.
Once you have this documentation, completed the form and have an authorised witness sight the documents and the form (a list of acceptable witnesses is provided on the form). You can then forward the form to us by mail or email.
