There is certain documentation about the death that must be received before we are able to advise or pay any funds owing to that customer. Our Customer Support team will be able to provide information regarding the documentation required for your specific circumstances.
This process ensures we are meeting our obligations to pay any outstanding funds to those responsible for managing the Estate (the Executor/s) so they can in turn manage the distribution in terms of the will.
Instalment Prizes (Live The Life Instant Scratch-Its prizes or Set for Life Division 1 or 2 prizes)
If the claimant passes away during the annuity prize payment period, whether for a Set for Life Division 1 or 2 prize, or a 'scratchie' prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket, the outstanding funds will be paid out in a lump sum to the estate.
