Play For Purpose is a not-for-profit charity raffle that gives you the chance to win a First Prize Pack worth $300,000, as well as hundreds of other prizes, all while supporting good causes.
How to play
A $10 raffle ticket grants you one entry into a Play For Purpose charity raffle, with a chance to win hundreds of prizes. At least 50% of the ticket price goes directly to the charity of your choice. You can support more than one charity of your choice in a transaction by selecting the number of tickets for each charity you’ve chosen and adding each to your cart.
How to win
The chances of winning depends on the number of tickets sold in each charity raffle draw. There’s a maximum of 180,000 tickets available in this raffle.
In the event of a sell-out raffle and you purchase one ticket, you’ll have a one in 456 chance of winning a prize and a one in 180,000 chance of winning the First Prize Pack.
Play For Purpose is conducted by the 50-50 Foundation Limited as trustee for the 50-50 Foundation (ABN 92 944 713 763). Raffle draws are conducted using certified electronic draw technology, with an independent auditor who witnesses and audits each raffle draw.
Results
Major raffle prize winners (1st to 5th) are contacted within 24 hours of the raffle being drawn using the details registered to your Members Club account.
The 50-50 Foundation will publish all major winners' initials and suburb or town in the 'public notices' section of The Australian within seven days after the draw. Additionally, a 50-50 Foundation representative will attempt to notify major prize winners via phone or email to complete the prize claim process within seven days following the draw.
