As winners are entitled to the prize money won in lottery draws, we will continue to ensure that prize money goes to the winners of each draw as required under the respective rules and regulations in place.
However, the Lott has a long history of giving to those in need. The sale of entries into lottery games help to support a range of important community infrastructure and initiatives such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education through state lottery taxes. Last financial year this totalled more than $1.4 billion.
