While “You’ve won the lottery!” is something that many of our customers want to hear, it’s important to stay alert and verify the credibility of the source of any such communication.

I’ve received communication from The Lott about a major lottery prize, how do I know it is legitimate?
A team member from The Lott will make contact with you to deliver the exciting news if you were to win a major lottery or Instant Scratch-Its prize.
The team member will ask to speak to the winner directly and will have the unique details about your winning entry to help verify the authenticity of the call.
In some circumstances, we will send you an email or letter if we’re unable to reach you on the contact details provided by your The Lott membership. This communication will advise you to contact us on 131 868.
If you have received what you believe may be a lottery scam, please:
- Do not reply to the communication
- Do not pay money in advance to collect a prize or lottery winnings
- Do not reveal your full identity
- Do not release your bank account or credit card details
- Keep your money safe from harm by deleting hoax communications as soon as received.
