A Lost or Damaged Ticket Search Form will need to be completed for damaged Instant Scratch-Its tickets.
This form will assist in locating the damaged ticket in our lottery system.
For multiple damaged Instant Scratch-Its tickets, a form will need to be completed for each ticket.
Download and print the Lost or Damaged Ticket Search Form according to where the ticket was purchased:
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in Queensland
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in New South Wales
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in the Australian Capital Territory
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in Victoria
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in Tasmania
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in the Northern Territory
- For Instant Scratch-Its lottery tickets purchased in South Australia
Please forward the completed Lost or Damaged Ticket Search Form and the original damaged ticket to the relevant address listed on the form.
A search fee of $15 ($22 for South Australian customers) must be paid either by debit, Visa credit card or cash in-person prior to the search proceeding.
Completion of the Statutory Declaration section in the form is a mandatory requirement.
Successful claims will be paid after the following periods:
- In Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory and Queensland, the prize will be paid four weeks from the date of Instant Scratch-Its ticket purchase.
- In New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, the prize the prize will be paid eight weeks from the date of Instant Scratch-Its ticket purchase.
- In South Australia, the prize will be paid 12 months from the date of Instant Scratch-Its ticket purchase.
